AEM Living is home to three distinctive brands: Audley Villages, Elysian Residences and Mayfield Villages.

Together, we create and operate integrated retirement communities across the UK, united by a shared commitment to quality, thoughtful design and exceptional customer experience. Each brand has its own character and approach, while benefiting from the strength and expertise of the wider group.

Today, AEM Living operates 25 communities, with a further six in planning and development.

Steeped in history

AEM Living brings together more than three decades of experience in retirement living. The group's story began in 1991 with the founding of Audley Villages, helping to shape the integrated retirement community sector in the UK. This was followed by the launch of Elysian Residences in 2013 and Mayfield Villages in 2016, bringing together complementary brands with a shared vision of creating exceptional places to live.

Today, AEM Living unites this collective expertise under one group, with 31 communities either in operation or under development across the UK.

We champion the retirement sector as a whole, and as such are a founding member of the Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) trade body.

Membership of this organisation means we are at the forefront of setting best practice in the Integrated Retirement Community sector, allowing us to act as a united voice when representing the interests of older people in engagement with both the private and public sectors, including government.
